Build the agent that runs marketing for businesses.
Admiry is a small, self-funded team in Austin with real infrastructure and real customers, and far more work than people. You would be one of our first engineers.
Software Engineer (Generalist), Founding Team
- Location
- Austin, TX · Hybrid, 2–3 days a week in person
- Type
- Full-time · Early-career welcome
- Compensation
- $85,000–$110,000 + early-employee equity
Admiry builds an AI agent that runs Google Ads campaigns for businesses. It is live in production at admiry.ai.
You will work alongside our lead engineer, who designs the core systems: bidding, ML and the agent architecture. Your job is to make that work ship and keep it running: features end to end, deployments and operations, tests and tooling, and the many tasks that keep a production system healthy.
Our lead engineer is not online all day, so you will often work from a written plan on your own and check in at scheduled syncs. If you like owning things and figuring them out, this is a good fit. If you need constant direction, it is not.
What you will do
- Build and ship features across the stack: Python services, our Next.js/React website, and the agent itself.
- Own deployments and day-to-day operations on our Linux servers: releases, monitoring, and fixing things when they break.
- Keep our data pipelines healthy (Airflow, Spark, BigQuery) and debug them when they fail.
- Turn specs and design docs into working, tested code.
- Write the tests, scripts and internal tools that make the whole team faster.
- Write things down: runbooks, notes and short docs, so nothing is lost between syncs.
What we are looking for
- 0–3 years of professional experience. New grads, bootcamp grads and self-taught engineers are welcome.
- Solid Python and comfort at the Linux command line.
- Some web development experience: JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Next.js.
- Working knowledge of Git and code review.
- Something you have built and shipped: a side project, internship work, a hackathon or open source.
- Clear written communication. Much of our collaboration is async.
- Curiosity about AI agents, LLMs or online advertising.
Nice to have
- Docker, Terraform or any cloud platform (GCP, AWS).
- SQL and data work (BigQuery, Spark, pandas).
- Daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Exposure to ad tech or Google Ads.
What we offer
- $85,000–$110,000 base, depending on experience.
- Meaningful early-employee equity.
- Real ownership: your code reaches production in your first weeks.
- Direct mentorship from a senior engineer on systems and ML work.
- An Austin-based team with a flexible hybrid schedule.
